What to Expect

Come as you are. Honestly.

There is no dress code, no insider language, and no pressure. Just a warm room full of people who were once new too, and a God who is glad you came.

Worship

Heartfelt worship

We sing because God is worth it. Expect honest, Spirit-led worship that makes room for you to meet with Him.

The Word

A message that meets you

Every Sunday we open the Bible together: clear, practical teaching you can carry straight into your week.

Guest Parking

Enter from Julian Field St. These are the closest spaces to the building and they are saved for first-time guests. Yes, that means you.

Primary Parking

Enter from Connerton Drive. The main lot has the most room, even for your Texas-sized ride, with a straight sidewalk shot to the front doors.

Covered Drop-Off & Loop

Pull into the loop in front of the building to drop off kids, car seats, strollers, or anyone who would rather not walk far, then loop back around to park.

Volunteer parking is signed separately on campus. Watch for our feather flags and the black-and-white signs, and our parking team will wave you in.

Once You're Inside

Three stops and you're set.

01
Welcome

Look for the Welcome tower and table just inside the main entrance. Grab a coffee, say hello, and let us point you where to go.

02
Kids Check-In

Follow the Check In signs to the RiverStone Kids counter. First Sunday? Give us about ten minutes to get your kids registered and tagged.

03
The Auditorium

Head down the hallway to the auditorium and sit wherever you like. There is no wrong seat, and nobody is going to make you stand up.

RiverStone Kids

Your kids are in good hands.

RiverStone Kids runs every Sunday for ages 8 weeks through 5th grade, in three age-specific environments built to be safe, fun, and genuinely formative. Check in takes about ten minutes the first time, and you will get a matching tag that is the only way your child leaves our care.

8 Weeks – 1 Year
The Brook

Our nursery. Quiet, calm, and staffed by people who will hold your baby like their own. Where the river begins.

2 Years – Pre-K
The Pebble Patch

Toddlers and preschoolers. Songs, stories, snacks, and a first look at how much God loves them.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade
RiverStone Kids

Big-kid worship, teaching they can actually use, and small groups where they are known by name.

Child Safety

We are MinistrySafe certified.

RiverStone is MinistrySafe certified, and so is every adult who serves with our kids. Before a volunteer ever steps into a room with children, they complete MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and clear our full screening process. No exceptions, ever.

Questions

Everything else you're wondering.

Tap any question to see the answer. No question is too small, and if we missed yours, send it over with the form below and a real person will get back to you.

What time do you meet, and how long is the service?

One gathering, every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Plan on about 75 minutes from the first song to the final amen, with coffee and conversation on either side.

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in. Jeans and a t-shirt, boots, a dress, shorts in August. You will fit in. We care a lot more about you being here than about what you wore to get here.

Where do I park and where do I go?

Guest parking is off Julian Field St. and primary parking is off Connerton Drive, with a covered drop-off loop out front. Our parking team will be outside to wave you in, and greeters at the doors will walk you the rest of the way. The map above shows all of it.

What happens with my kids?

RiverStone Kids meets every Sunday for ages 8 weeks through 5th grade, in three age-specific environments. Head to the Check In counter when you arrive. First-time check-in takes about ten minutes, and you will get a tag that matches your child's, which is the only way they leave our care.

Are your children's volunteers screened?

Yes. RiverStone is MinistrySafe certified, and every adult serving in RiverStone Kids completes MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, an application and reference check, and a criminal background check before they ever serve.

Do you have anything for students?

The Current, our student ministry, meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for worship, real conversation, and friendships that go deeper than a group chat.

Will I get singled out or asked for money?

No and no. We will not make you stand up, wear a sticker, or introduce yourself to the room. Giving is part of how we worship as a church family, and guests are never expected to participate.

What is a Sunday actually like?

Honest worship, a message straight out of the Bible that you can use before Monday, time to pray, and people who will remember your name next week. Simple. Real. Life-changing.

You meet in an elementary school?

We do. RiverStone gathers at Brenda Norwood Elementary in Mansfield, and a team sets the whole room up and tears it back down every single week. Come early enough and you will probably see it happen.

How do I take a next step after Sunday?

RiverStone 101 is the best place to start. It meets right after service on Sunday, September 27, lunch included. RiverStone Groups launch October 4, and sign-ups are coming soon.

Is the building accessible?

Yes. The campus is single-level from the main entrance with accessible parking, ramped walkways, and wide doorways. If you need help getting in, use the covered drop-off loop out front and a team member will meet you there.

Can I watch online first?

Absolutely, and plenty of people do. Watch a past message any time, then come see us in person when you are ready.
